Pylewell Food & Drink Festival

Pylewell Park, a large country estate situated just over a mile away from the famous sailing town of Lymington in the New Forest is set to open its spectacular grounds for a food, drink, and lifestyle festival over the weekend of July 23rd/24th this summer.

The festival will have cookery ‘theatre’ with Adam Byatt of London’s Trinity (BBC1 Saturday Kitchen), Gordon Jones of Bournemouth’s The Green House Hotel (BBC 3 Virgin Cooks) and a host of Chefs from many of the best establishments from the area, including Limewood Hotel, Hotel Terravina, (Gerard Basset World No 1 sommelier) Hotel du Vin, and Whitley Ridge.

There will be a Wine tasting marquee, a FoodLovers approved market from Henrietta Green, over 100 local and national producers, an international ‘food to go’ area, (Thai, Indian, Jamaican, German, Spanish, Italian, English, Scottish, Welsh, Argentinean, and USA) an arts and craft market, Seafood from Marina Jaks, Sweet Pea English Tea Party, Pimms Bar, Champagne and Guinness Bar, Real Ale & Cider Bar, Strawberries & Cream amongst the many stallholders.

An entertainment programme will include; a tethered Hot air balloon, aerobatic display, Children’s fun area from Rodeo Leisure, Crèche from Sunflower Kids, Pylewell Poet tree, and Sculpture exhibition. Music featuring Radio 1 sensation Birdy, Bess Cavendish, Batala, Sean Hopkinson, Crescendi, Swingbridge Jazz, TJ Parker, MFV, According to you, and Andy Kennard. Saturday night will feature The Pylewell Park Summer Ball.
